In the app, open Profile → Edit profile → Delete my account. Read the notice, confirm your request, and enter the code sent to your registered email address. Do not share the code or your password.

You may also request deletion without installing the app by emailing support@chaljubinscol.com with the subject “Account deletion request — CHALJUB INS COL.” Include your name, registered email address, and customer code if you know it. We will verify your identity through an appropriate method; do not email SSNs, licenses, or other sensitive documents unless a secure channel has been agreed upon and there is a justified need.

Once your request is confirmed and your identity verified, we will delete your login account and personal data that does not need to be retained within 30 days. This includes credentials, sessions, and tokens under our control, profile photographs, and unnecessary private documents such as SSNs, licenses, identification, and birth documents. Disabling access alone does not replace deletion.

Your request does not depend on downloading the app again. If a specific obstacle arises, we will inform you and address the case within the applicable time limits.

Deleting an account does not require the destruction of documents needed to meet tax, contractual, or legal obligations. We will retain only necessary records and fields, separately from the operational profile and with restricted access:

• Invoices, receipts, payments, and necessary tax documentation: the ordinary reference period is four years from the applicable tax date, not from account deletion. For income tax, the due date and actual filing date of the relevant return will be reviewed.

• Contracts and completed services: an initial internal-policy period of four years from documented closure, subject to contractual, tax, regulatory obligations and claim periods that may require longer retention.

• First name, last name, and email address: only when needed to link those lawfully retained records. The full profile will not be retained indefinitely, and that archive will not be used for marketing.

Four years is not a universal legal retention period. Longer periods may apply for unfiled or fraudulent returns, substantial omissions of income, bad debts or worthless securities, employment taxes, property and its disposition, audits, claims, agreements, or requirements in other jurisdictions. Each exception must be documented and reviewed.

A retention obligation will suspend deletion only for the relevant records, with documented reasons and periodic review. It will not automatically keep the account active or retain all personal documents.

A business record will not be irreversibly deleted if its retention deadline or applicable exceptions have not been reliably determined. The case must be reviewed; this caution does not authorize indefinite retention of data unrelated to the obligation.

Once the retention period and any applicable obligation end, we will delete or anonymize the relevant record.

Requests include associated data processed by our providers, to the extent of our responsibilities and management capabilities. We use Google/Firebase for authentication, databases, private storage, functions, and notifications; and Resend for transactional emails. We will manage applicable deletion with those providers and document mandatory retention cases.

Backups and technical logs will be subject to documented access, retention, and deletion management. A restoration must not reactivate deleted accounts or reintroduce data awaiting deletion; the request log will be reapplied before the restored service is enabled.

You may email support@chaljubinscol.com to request information about your request's status, retained categories, their purpose, and applicable retention periods.
